THE STRUGGLE:
Growing up, it was clear I had ADHD. Looong before I was diagnosed! I couldn’t sit still, couldn’t focus, couldn’t shut off. My brain was always jumping from one idea to the next.
That energy got me into trouble at school, and those… “problems”.. followed me into adulthood. But everything changed when I discovered mushrooms.
THE SHIFT:
Lion’s Mane gave me clarity, focus, and a sense of direction. For the first time, I felt like I could work with my brain, not against it.
I couldn’t believe it when I found Reishi! It gave me calm. It silenced the constant internal noise, and for the first time in my life… I slept. Deep, restorative sleep.
Despite all the challenges, I’ve always had a drive to help people, even when I couldn’t help myself. And once I turned that sense of relief and obsession into a real passion… Essex Mushroom Co. was born!
